Does Myloc8-Halo need my child's phone nearby?
No. The tracker has its own built-in cellular connectivity and can send location information without pairing to your child's phone. Compatible network coverage and an active subscription are required.
Can I create a safety zone around a school or home?
Yes. Myloc8-Halo supports configurable geofences and entry/exit notifications. Alerts may be delayed by connectivity, positioning and device conditions.
Is the location accurate indoors?
GPS performance is typically best with an unobstructed view of the sky. Indoors, the device may rely on other available positioning signals and location accuracy can be reduced.
How long does the Myloc8-Halo battery last?
Published specifications state up to five days under favourable conditions. More frequent tracking, weak network signal and live tracking use can reduce battery life.
What happens after the included service period?
To continue cellular tracking, renew the device's subscription. Myloc8-Halo includes 12 months; NickWatch includes three months in the current listed offers. Check the product listing for the applicable renewal plan.
Can GPS tracking guarantee my child's safety?
No. GPS trackers are supplemental tools, not emergency-response services or substitutes for supervision and an agreed family safety plan. Location reports can be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable if the tracker is offline, not charged or outside service coverage.
