Is a subscription required?
Yes. An active Petloc8 subscription is required to use cellular tracking, alerts and associated services. Canadian pricing and bundles should be confirmed before purchase.
Do I need to buy a SIM card?
No. Petloc8 devices include an embedded SIM. You activate the required service plan for your device.
Which model is best for my pet?
The Mini is designed for cats and smaller dogs; the Regular is suited to medium and larger dogs. Consider collar size, fit and your pet’s comfort.
Will the battery always last 7 or 14 days?
No. Those are the manufacturers’ stated maximum battery-life figures. Frequent location updates, weak reception and other conditions may reduce operating time.
Can I track multiple pets?
Yes. The Petloc8 app supports multiple devices, but each tracker needs its own subscription.
