Can Myloc8 Halo send an alert if someone leaves a familiar area?
Yes. Configure a geofence around a location such as home. Supported entry or exit alerts can be sent through selected channels while the tracker is active and connected. Notifications may be delayed or missed if coverage is poor or the battery is depleted.
Is Halo always reporting its location live?
No. It reports according to the selected tracking settings. You can start a live-tracking session for up to 15 minutes at a time; it should not be presented as uninterrupted live monitoring.
Does the SOS button automatically call 911?
No. The device's SOS feature can notify preconfigured contacts when activated and connected. It is not a replacement for calling emergency services or for a monitored emergency-response system.
How long does a charge last?
