Do I need a subscription?
Yes. An active Petloc8 subscription is required for cellular tracking, location updates and alerts. Confirm current Canadian plans before purchase.
Is a SIM card included?
Yes. Both versions have an embedded roaming SIM; you do not need to buy or insert another SIM card. Service requires activation and supported cellular coverage.
Will my tracker work everywhere?
Petloc8 can work in supported countries and cellular networks, but it cannot guarantee coverage everywhere. Reception, GPS visibility and local network conditions affect performance.
Is Petloc8 fully waterproof?
Petloc8 carries an IP67 dust and water protection rating. It is designed for everyday rain and splashes, not prolonged underwater use.
Can I monitor more than one pet?
Yes. You can manage multiple Petloc8 devices in the app. Each device needs its own active tracking subscription.
